2009 has been a watershed year thus far. We decided to work to our strengths and to offer our valued clients the best of our talents. This meant exiting the web industry and concentrating on bespoke Application Development and the use of Microsoft products, including the use of SharePoint, Silverlight and CRM.

Undertaking this change allows all 20 dedicated staff at pilotfish to direct our energy at application development. pilotfish has been in existence for nine years, during which time we have serviced a host of top notch clients including Deloitte, Rainbow Chickens and a large US based IT, LogicalIS.

The emphasis has been on Sharepoint development and we have honed a particular set of skills over the last five years. This has seen pilotfish customise the design of workflows, enterprise search and document management. The application side of our business is all about creating bespoke tailored software solutions. We design productivity systems for different businesses and while this is often complicated, it is enormously gratifying work.

Some examples of our application success are the Rainbow Chicken SharePoint Intranet and the Swordfish system designed to handle the Deloitte graduate recruitment programme. pilotfish also developed the IT systems for the South African taxi recapitalisation programme.
